Robert Goddard is a public Montessori located near NASA. Not at all related to the Goddard daycare.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has gotten into Goddard Montessori and what number on the waitlist you were.
I am number 22 on the waitlist and am wondering of my odds.
Thanks!

OP here - yes, Robert Goddard Montessori is a PGPS 'specialty' school - admission is by lottery only beginning @ age 3. When you apply as a 4-year-old you only get a spot if one has been vacated (someone moves, switches schools, etc.), so the odds are quite small. I called the office today and was told there had been 'no movement' on the waitlist. They do admit until the end of September, though.

It's a PG county public magnet, right?

Last year we didn't find out about an opening until the first day of school.

As far as I know Goddard and Montessori don't go together. Goddard is a chain daycare/preschool that does not teach the Montessori method.

Just wondering if anyone's ever gotten off the waitlist for a 4-year-old spot @ Goddard Montessori. We're fairly high up the list (in the single digits), but I know the 4-year-old spots are especially hard to come by. I called the PGPS specialty school office and they said to check back in late July, which I will, but just thought I'd ask here. TIA.
