"healthy"? I'd say there are better choices than others, but healthy, no.

We get the ones Costco carries, they are Coleman Brand Organic, Chicken, Uncured.

I tried these once and they were extremely salty. Maybe they do a low sodium version? I do like the Applegate Farms bacon though.

The Whole Foods Whole Ranch (or something like that) have no nitrates. I don't know what the OP is considering healthful; I worry about the quality of the meat, but if you're worried about fat, I don't think these will meet your requirements.

Oh, I just came in here because I thought there was a new brand for kids called Healthy Hotdogs. Ok, carry on. . .

Field Roast hot dogs and sausages are pretty good.

I just got some chicken (organic, uncured) hot dogs from WF for my 3 year old- he ate it all. I threw out the package though (froze the rest in a separate container) so I don't remember the name. But WF has a lot of options.

We do soy dogs - can't remember the brand, but they are sold at most grocery stores (cheapest at TJ). They are low cal/fat, but still pretty high in sodium.

Is there such thing? I'm wondering what kind of hotdogs do you give to your kids if any, maybe I need to check out trader joes or whole foods.
