I think I still wore mat at 4-5 months pp with child #1. After child #2 I was out of the mat clothes much faster. Some stuff you really can't tell so I still wear the odd maternity shirt.

At 2 months, I wouldn't worry about wearing mat at all! I would only think it was weird maybe if I saw an obviously not pregnant woman wearing mat when her kid was a year old or so!

Agree with never. And, agree to be kind. It took me about 6 months, but then when I weaned at one year I put some weight back on.

Wear what fits. If that means wearing maternity, wear it--and if you need new clothes, buy some. My kid is 2 and I still wear a couple of maternity pieces, although you wouldn't know by looking.

Never IMO. Be kind to yourself. I was wearing maternity when I returned to work 12 weeks PP. It takes time. Work on it and you'll get back down eventually.

I think it was about 3 months for me, when the seasons changed, that I really forced myself to go back to regular clothes. Not easy.

I'm at the two month mark and 15 lbs up from pre pregnancy (20 lbs up from pre IVF). Needless to say I won't be fitting in my clothes anytime soon. I did go ahead and buy some pants- size 14, ouch- but other than that I'm wearing mostly maternity pants. At what point is it weird to still be wearing maternity??
