Ditto. Only difference now is more traffic when driving back and forth.

We also drove one day to a water slide in Fenwick. If it rained, we drove to a movie in Ocean City. Other than that we stayed out of our car. Bethany is not a boat place. If you want water sports, I think you would go to the bay side near Rehoboth.

Playground right in town. There's a nice shaded one in Ocean View just up 26.

There is mini-golf, ice cream, toy stores, a boardwalk, etc. all in Bethany. My kids are far from bored in Bethany. Rehoboth and OC are both about 30 minutes away.

We are thinking of a family vacation at a rental home for a week in Bethany. Kids are ages 2-10. How big of a hassle is it to get to rehoboth from there? Are there activities to do with kids if we don't have a boat?
