I don't think it will leave your system in 7 days. I am also an IVFer (success on first try but after many other IF issues) so I understand your desire to test as soon as possible I really do. But I just don't think testing before ET is going to be very accurate.

If you did IVF, has anyone tested to see if the hCG left your system BEFORE you did the Embryo Transfer? My ET is tomorrow and it'll been 7 days since the shot. I read on some IVF facility sites that it can leave your system quickly or longer depending on the dosage, your BMI, etc. I am curious if it's worth a HPT tomorrow before I leave for the ET to see if it is gone.

I know it's silly to do but I sort of want a baseline. If it's gone that may give me peace of mind for testing 5 or so days after my ET which is a 5-day transfer.
