Maybe find someone to thread it. The electrolysis process would be a nightmare for your entire face, and that's without mentioning the possibility of scarring. Depilatories work, sort of, but that's a lot of chemicals and a lot of chance for reaction.

Also, i've seen women with lots of blond facial hair and it's just not too noticeable.

I am thinking about doing this! Maybe experiment with just one half of your face? If it's a subtle fuzz it shouldnt make too much of a difference and could give you an opportunity to see your face peach-fuzz-less.

I had laser done on my chin where a few nasty dark/thicker hairs starting sprouting. The laser helped with those, I asked the technician if it would work on my my upper lip where I just have peach fuzz type hair and she said it would not. That the hair had to be coarse/thicker for the laser to work on it.

I think PP might be talking about possible scarring. Go to an experienced technician and keep your face clean after treatment and it should be okay.

I think the damage electrolysis can do to the face is not worth it - I'd rather have the peach fuzz.

What kind of damage do you mean?

I use a Sally Hansen product for facial hair on my chin and upper lip - it works well. I use it about every two weeks.

I saw this in a catalog recently and was intrigued:

You want to remove all of your facial hair? You wouldn't happen to be a guy? The reason I ask is that from what I understand, men who decide to transform into women before surgery get rid of all their facial hair that way. Otherwise, the hair might show as a shadow. It's a long, expensive and painful process since that would be hundreds of hairs that would need one to three treatments each.

Thanks, that's what I've heard (it's the only permanent way). I can't imagine that electrolysis would make sense for all your face- or?

Electrolysis is the only permanent way to remove hair. It will hurt though. I don't think laser will work on peach fuzz. Lasers work best on dark hair on fair complexions.

Have you tried the Olay remover? Or deplaning?

Is there a permanent wAy to do this? I have some black hairs but mostly peach fuzz. Has anyone done this? Does it give your face a cleaner look?
