Where are you barred? If you want to do contract work in DC you'll need to be DC barred or be pending admission in DC so put your application in ASAP.

You could do contract work. Look on craigslist. Some are 40 hour a week+ gigs.

I'm an out of work attorney. I am looking for summer work in an educational or office setting. I'm new to the area. My husband's job brought my family here. My 10 year old son will be gone for the summer so I will have plenty of time on my hands. I need to work and meet people in order to maintian my sanity. Does anyone know of an employer that could use some help during the day?
