We also adopted our dog from death row at a shelter in GA. We adopted him sight unseen and had him transported to Alexandria. We have completely fell in love with him, though he's larger than what we had originally wanted

. He's so loving, it's magical and when I look into his big brown eyes, I think about all the great dogs who never get their wish - to become a part of a family. After our 5 yr. Old falls asleep, he lies next to him with his arms over him. He was one day away from being put down. He's just your typical big hound, probably set loose by a hunter.
I can't watch a movie that has a gas chamber scene, I'll think about for months. I have an enormous soft soft in my heart for dogs (and cats).
