Love the Pottery Barn Kids lunch box with the hard liner. It is easy to wipe out and my son uses a Thermos brand water bottle that we bought at Target. If you fill it with ice and water, it will still be cold hours later even after baking in a hot car.

Does anyone have the thermal lunchbox from "thirty-one" for their kids' lunchbox? Thoughts?

Kids have Pottery Barn lunch boxes, which have a hard liner. They have Contigo drink bottles. I used Sigg but they dented. Sigg also had BPA liners, so I had to throw them out.

My kids started using the Contigo bottles at 2.5 years old even though they suggest 3 years. If your child has motor problems they might not be the best choice.

Funtainers from Thermos for keeping food warm.

These are actually only for keeping food/drinks cold. Read the directions -- they specifically say not for hot foods.

Lands End lunch box with his name on it. (We also have the LL Bean one and found that it is harder to get as much stuff in it - plus we miss the outside water bottle pocket. And the LL Bean one you can only put the initials on and we prefer the whole name.)

Camelback water bottle. The only ones we have found that don't break/spill easily.

Funtainers from Thermos for keeping food warm.

We've had all of these things 3y and they are all in great shape.

We have used the LL Bean lunch boxes - as well as the LL Bean Jr sized backpack

My oldest used these for 2 years through PreK and K and they have held up for 2 years and I am planning on passing it down to youngest for PreS next year.

For water bottle - we have Siggs. These do not leak - unless you leave them open.
They are something that a 3 YO can do independently. They are expensive - but they last. We have used the Sigg everyday for 2 years of school.

We have used the LL Bean lunchbox for the past 2 years and it has held up great. DD is only 4 so it gets abused!

My son has a pottery barn kids spiderman lunchbox that he has used for two years and it's held up really well. As a bonus, it can be embroidered with the child's name. He also has a marching backpack. Thermos makes a great little stainless thermos. The recyclable sandwich pouches on amazon are nice too, but I found that they got lost and thrown away.

The water bottles from Hanna Andersson (boy and girl styles available) are awesome. They also have a matching real thermos. Both are metal and very well made. DD is on year 3 of both items. The lunchboxes are OK, the box itself held up well but the pattern started to flake off.

Lands End lunch box, small Thermos (the real thing) from Target. We used a plastic CamelBak water bottle, but I think Thermos makes metal ones that are kid friendly, also at Target.

The Lands End lunch box we have has an outside pouch too, that's good for a snack.

LL Bean and Lands' End both make wonderful lunch boxes.

We were very happy with our kids' LL Bean insulated lunch boxes this year. They held up and should be good for another year. We were less excited about the lunch box one kid got at Target but it did make it the whole year and it has Star Wars on it so, hey, the kid loved it, but I think we will need a new one for next year.

Thermos makes nice water bottles that keep drinks cold.

My 3 yr old is going to school next yr and I want a good lunch box that will be able to hold lunch, snack and a bottle. I was also thinking of an insulated lunch box. I wanted a water bottle that was metal rather than plastic and a container for hot food like Mac and cheese. I do want to use these this summer too. I tried LL bean but couldn't decide on a good one. Pls let me know where you got your child's items from and if you are happy with it. Thank you so much.
