It's more like I get overwhelmed by his presence when I'm in front of him and I find myself not as articulate as I should be.

What can I do to bring him down to my level? picture him in his underwear? avoid eye contact?

it would be more effective picturing him taking #2. just sayin'

OP, I can see where you're coming from. I have to present every month to the CIO of my company, who is ridiculously hot. (and very stylishly dressed.) He's also very smart and articulate and I've seen him pick people apart before. So I get a little intimidated by him, though I'm generally not that easy to intimidate.

He's also a really nice guy, and that's what helps me. It's easier to remember that the boss is human when he's actually really nice. (my former boss was also super hot, but he was a very approachable goofball so he didn't intimidate me.) good luck!

Picture him wearing a loin cloth, peeling grapes for you and fanning you with palm fronds.

You're on DCUM, aren't you. Judging from your nasty post, you think you're terribly important.

Why not envision yourself rising to his level than diminishing him?

um, because men in high powered positions never have emotional/sexual issues with women? In case you need some examples should we start with presidents and congressmen or would you prefer we start in the private sector?
