You should keep stimulating the nerves - and make them less sensitive. So at night, gently rub the area, touch it with fabric, brushes, etc. Sounds weird but when I had foot surgery that's what my Drs recommended doing.

I got an inch big scar on my foot when I was young. The scar does not bother me, except it's extremely sensistive to touch. I am ok with sneakers, but I have to wear boots when I am at work.

I have tried to put a bandaid over it and other formats to cover it tried to not let it touched, but seems not working.

Is there anything I can do? (I am thinking to an extreme, surgery a piece of skin over it hahaha)
