What grade is your child? It might not hurt to talk to the AAP coordinator at your child's school. At the least, by talking to her you may be able to get your ducks in a row ahead of the deadline for next year, and you will be on her radar as interested in info on the program as it comes up.

OP here. Thanks for the replies. I am in Fairfax Co. no. Recently had DD tested not knowing I had to submit paperwork in Feb, eventhough I did not have scores back then. I guess I will have to wait another year

Is your child in FCPS now or not? If yes, then you must wait to submit in spring 2013. If no, then you can submit in fall 2012.

You can submit a packet in 2013. Probably in late January. In the meantime, get in touch with the AART at your local school for supplementation.

I don't think your WISC score counts. I really think you have to have your child tested and work with his/her intelligence. Sorry, you had your chance as a kid.

There are no exceptions to the deadlines. You will need to wait and reapply next year.
