How about something savory? Like mini quiche/ tarts with a savory filling. Since there's no dairy or gluten allergy here, no problem with a regular shortcrust pastry for the shells. Just squish a ball into each cavity of a mini-muffin tin, fill and bake. For the filling you could use some soft cheese mixed with jarred roasted red pepper, herbs, or any flavoring of choice.

Make some mini blueberry muffins and banana muffins (no nuts!) and make a fruit bowl with fingerfood fruit (grapes, strawberries, cubed apples).

Whole Foods sells refrigerated canisters of Immaculate Baking Company products like scones, croissants, cinnamon buns, and biscuits - many of them are egg and nut free. In our egg and nut-free house, we love the cinnamon buns because they are really sumptuous for something that is egg and nut free...

Granola, with the exception of a few brands, contains or is x-contaminated with peanuts and/or tree nuts. Enjoy Life brand and some of the Bear Naked brands are "safe". Does your school require you to bring in all the packaging? A lot of store bought "goodies" (pretty much anything from the bakery department or from a factory) have allergy warnings.

HOw about little granola parfaits? My daughter's pre-school class made them for us for Mother's Day. Clear plastic cup, little bit of fruit in the bottom, yogurt, sprinkling of granola on top. They were great!

-fruit kebabs on bamboo skewers... provided the kids are old enough and the school will let you in with dangerous weapons
-make rice krispy treats with cornflakes instead. My mom used to make them for christmas (+green food coloring + red hots = xmas wreaths).
-yogurt parfaits? I'm surprised there's no dairy allergy.

op here-it would be my son who would start a "skewer fight/war"

Oh! You could also do this with yogurt. Have a frozen fruit topping, a cereal or two, chocolate chips, banana chips, marshmallows, and raisins.

Can you buy some allergy-free equivalent to quaker chewy bar?
I'd also bring individual containers of mini-yogurt. Pricey at $4 or so for half a dozen, but easy.

Mini scones? No eggs in the dough. I like the cranberry orange scone recipe on Epicurious--just make them way smaller and use whatever fruit you like, or chocolate chips. Use a food processor to mix the butter in.
