Actually, the problem are the non-preppers.
If they had prepped properly, they wouldn't be in deficient in their math skills.
Prepping may work for an admissions test, but obviously it's not enough to sustain that level of work over the long term. If your kid has the appropriate aptitude for math and science, they'll get in just fine without prepping. If not, don't do them a disservice by forcing the issue.
