we've been there and love the food but wouldnt take our toddler there. Why? Because it's usually busy dinner time and commonly a wait to get a table. in addition, it's not exactly a cozy place for kids since it's loud w/ music blaring and the seating is a bit cramped. I could be wrong haven't been there for 2 yrs so things might have changed.

Try another korean restaurant in the same area, Hee Been restaurant, which is more kid-friendly where they cook the meat at the table as well, in my opinion.

Which rio grande location is the best? Is the food very good?
Is Jaleo kid-friendly?

I wouldn't say the food at Rio Grande is "very good," but I wouldn't take 6 kids to a restaurant with "very good" food. Let me put it this way: It's surprisingly decent food for a place where kids are totally welcome and at home. As for Jaleo, I don't think of it as a kid place per se, but I seem to recall reading somewhere that Jose Andres is pretty welcoming to kids.

We just did Faccia Luna in Alexandria (there's one in Arlington)- pizza was really yummy and the wait staff was super nice to our son.

If you're in Alexandria, Los Tios in Del Ray is great for kids.

I concur on Pietanza. It's our go to restaurant. Food that both kids and adults enjoy eating and a very pleasant atmosphere.

Pietanza in Arlington or Falls Church - the kids like to watch the pizzas get made and the food is good.

Mexican food is usually good with kids. El Paso in Arlington or El Tio in Falls Church are both very kid friendly.
