The most annoying bumper sticker is that stupid "coexist." Extra Prententious Points if it's on a Prius.

For the most part I don't see any of it as annoying. I don't like the stick figure families, but not my thing anyway.

Some bumper stickers are funny (McCain for Voldemort). I'm not a fan of pro-life stickers (more common than pro-choice). Christian fish use to be popular, but now not as much. I think it's weird to put your beliefs out there, but some people feel strongly about it, like wearing a cross on your car.

I think people who have to brag by putting bumper stickers on their car are insecure and have a strange need to prove their worth to strangers.

I don't have one on my car, but I guess didn't think of them as accomplishment stickers so much as I love to run stickers. My SIL has a 13.1 sticker. She runs (obviously) everything from 1Oks to trail runs and also does Ironmans. But what she loves is the half marathon. I always saw it as expressing your love of a certain distance.

I like the ones that say "My border collie is smarter than your honor roll student", just as a response to the constant bragging we see on the minivans

I thought that every kid was on the honor roll.

I've run 8 marathons...and good times too. 3:30-3:40 range. I am built more like a sprinter--compact and muscular so nobody expects that I have done this if they didn't know me when I was training.

I will never put a bumper sticker or other type of sticker for this on my car.

I am not into car sticks as a matter of preference. I did these races in my lates 20s/early 30s and I think of the mid-life crisis weekend warriors as being more boastful about this type of stuff.

They make me envious!

I see most stickers like this or college alum stickers or whatever as just affiliations. Something that says "hey, we might have something in common". I don't like the permanence of bumper stickers and don't put them on my own car, but I always smile if I see a bumper sticker that references my hobbies, alma mater or whatever.

Love them! They have eveey right to display their accomplishmenrts!

I think they are fine, but I'm not anti-bumper sticker in general. Now, I do "not" like the bumper sticker I just saw that says, "Don't blame me, I voted for the American." And I'd judge you for that. But running a marathon? Awesome.

It means I will have to knock them down in order to outrun that bear.
