It also made my wee stink terribly, no matter how much I drank. The only reliable appetite supressant I found that I could live long term with was dropping sugar and simple carbs from my diet. Felt like crap for two days, cravings went away after four, and after nine weeks I'd lost a solid 25 lbs. Best part was losing the urge to nap at all hours.
This has been my experience too. I just have a really hard time toughing out the first 3-4 days. My cravings usually overwhelm me. Also if I have any alcohol whatsoever, my evening willpower departs and I stuff myself with cereal or whatever is around. Agree though that if you can last the first 3 days of no sugar no carbs, your cravings will go away and you will even feel indifferent or repulsed by heavy or too sweet food. GL
