Little Serow in DC is suppose to be fantastic, (I've heard from friends)
Komi is delicious
Citronelle, although I haven't been in 2 years, but it never disappoints.
You're my kinda diner, PP! OP, these are all great suggections. I love Jaleo in DC, which just got a much-needed facelift. I've never had good luck with the Bethesda location, though. Unfortunately, if you want to go to Komi or Citronelle, on a weekend, you have to plan weeks, maybe months in advance. Little Serow doesnt; take reservations, but unless you put your name in early (like get in line at 5:00 - they open at 5:30), you will be eating very late or not at all. We recently got on the list on a Friday night at 7, at 9:30 pulled the plug and went somewhere else. Wouldn't have gotten a table at all.
Also, love Palena and Palena Cafe, and Rasika is AMAZING.
