I think Don't Speak by No Doubt is quite sad.

I was singing along to "And So it Goes" today when my daughter asked what it was about. I had never really thought about it before, but was tearing up as I was trying to explain it to her.

can't listen to Harry Chapin's "Cats in the Cradle" about a dad being blown off by his son, because that's what dad did while the kid was growing up. TOO SAD and I change the channel every time!

Can't handle the sadness right now. Have a huge crush on someone (not DH) and can't do anything about it despite it being mutual.
