We live in Woodmoor with one child at MKES and another will attend next year. Very happy with the school. DC is thriving academically and socially. Small classes (19 in K and now 16 in 1st grade). A lot of diversity in the classes, which has been a plus for us so far. We plan to attend Pine Crest as well. From my view (my few blocks and the families I know), less than half the kids in Woodmoor go to St. B's. I think at least half go to MKES/Pine Crest or language immersion schools.

I agree with this, but would say the percentage of Woodmoor kids going to the public schools is growing. My DD is in K this year at Montgomery Knolls and a third of her classs is from Woodmoor, while neighbors tell me that even three years ago, there were only 1-2 Woodmoor kids in each Montgomery Knolls class.

I used to teach at MK, and found it was more common for Woodmoor families to do private (St. B's) instead of Montgomery Knolls, but then pull them out to go to Pine Crest.

I don't live in the Woodmoor, but I know at least three families who do, and send their kids to Pinecrest. To be more clear, every family I know in Woodmoor who have kids old enough to attend Pinecrest send their kids there.

I have a child at Montgomery Knolls and am curious to know how many kids go to Pinecrest who live in the neighborhood. I'm thinking of buying a house there but I hear that not many of the families in the neighborhood actually send their kids to Pinecrest.
