Run this place is terrible, I removed my child after 6 weeks at this hell hole!!

i remeber i wanted to take a peek on my kid and while be escorted I saw my child unsupervised away from all the kids and after I saw her roaming around a teacher started coming after her. I did leave a lil afterwards and I remeber the director or whomever i forgot her name older, white lady didnt even ask why i was leaving and seemed like she didnt care. i agree the staff wasnt educated even 10 years ago. Put I loved the fact they gave me feed back daily on my lil ones sheet about how much she ate, slept, went to the potty (getting potty trained). They had a lot of excurriculars for a fee. I wouldnt go back if I had a choice.

Hmmm. I sent my kid there for 6 months when he was 2.5 yo but took him out because he has sensory/eating issues and wasn't eating the lunch provided and they won't let you send a lunch. But, otherwise it wasn't too bad. I did find something better but I also paid almost $300 more.

Also, they nap twice a day which is too much in my opinion.

From what I remember, turnover is high.

If your child is well behaved, he should do fine. If not, it will be ugly.
The owner is scary, and kids are typically afraid of her.
For the most part, teachers lack any sort of education.

Does anyone have any experience with The Fairfax Academy in Arlington, VA? I'd love information (positive or negative). I'm thinking of sending my 3 year old there starting in the fall.
