Panera take-out party packs are easy. Bagels, cream cheese, even coffee-containers that pour. Get that and bring some cutlery/napkins/plates/a creamer and sugar packets from home, plus some clementines and strawberries and a cake and you're set. You can really throw all of that into shopping bags and do it easily.

There is a Papa Johns in the shopping center right there but they don't open until 11am. Might be the same with other usual lunch places.

It's unlikely downtown SS places will deliver, IMO. I live just outside the Beltway and they don't deliver to me.

Wheaton Mall is relatively close and they opened a Panera there so they might deliver.

You can also check out the restaurants in Wheaton here: http://www.wheatonmd.org/dining/restaurants.

Assuming the kids will be running around and on a train ride until 11 or so, I'd just bring bagels and cream cheese from home (or order pizza - google for nearest Papa John's or Dominos) and bday cake.

There is just about everything in Wheaton, or downtown SS which shoudl be in the delivery area for most places. What type of food are you looking for/thinking of? Panera (nearby) coudl do breakfast/bakery platters; El Pollo Rico (nearby) could do chicken, fries and tamales, Shoppers Food Warehouse (nearby) could do deli platters

We're having our DC's birthday party at Wheaton Regional Park's train room from 10-11:30 on a Sunday morning. We live in VA so I'm not familiar with the food options nearby. Any suggestions for a restaurant or inexpensive caterer near Wheaton which could deliver some brunch food, coffee, kid food and maybe even a birthday cake? We could probably pick up coffee, bagels and order pizza, but it might be easier to have everything delivered.
