Do NOT go to Dos Locos. Very anti kids. Didnt allow a stroller inside when the restaurant Was empty, said the plastic stick- on mats "scratch" the tables, blah blah. Major attitude that I dont need to deal with. We left- plenty of great places. Nicolas, Capriottis, Kilwins for ice cream.

I second the recommendation for Royal Treat, plus the front porch at Green Man, which is just down the street. Also agree that Nicola's is MUCH better than Grotto. Louie's does great subs, as does Capriotti's and the Italian place on Baltimore.

Summer House is very family friendly, as is Go Fish. Jake's and Confucius reasonably so.

Dogfish Head is family-friendly (during the day), despite the fact it is a brewery. Good luck getting in though--that place is packed even in the dead of winter.

Gus & Gus Place on the beach.

Its a total hole-in-the-wall. But good food cheap at the beach.

Nicola Pizza is much better than Grotto. Also Mariachi on the first block of Wilmington Ave has rooftop seating and has a decent kid menu and excellent grown up food.

Grotto Pizza. No, it's not great food, but it's decent and they certainly expect kids and it's right on the beach.

Go Fish is a little nicer (and more expensive) and also kid-friendly, but if you have a stroller, you'll need to fold it before you go in.

When we were there last year, most of the places seemed pretty family-friendly.

Any restaurant recs would be greatly appreciated. We have three kids in our family (4 yo and 2yo twins). TIA!
