Don't forget that although there are two seats, it is just one election and the two highest vote-getters win. So Wilcox and Grasso are not running against Brown, but against Brown and Orange (and Beatty). I'm leaning toward Wilcox and Grasso at this point.

I hope not!

How can a city council expect landlords and developers to respect the city when he doesn't pay his mortgage? 3) Will he move out of his tony CCDC into a more crime ridden neighborhood? He was so vehemently against any crime reforms. And lastly why his he the most dbag council member? Even Marion Barry has charm.

Yes, MAB is running for re-election. I will try to do an interview with him. I believe that he has paid the income tax he owes. At least the last I heard, he had a payment plan. Similarly. I believe he also paid his mortgage. I don't think he cares about the respect of developers. He does, however, care about their campaign contrabutions. But he doesn't have to pay his mortgage to get those. He has moved out of CCDC into an apartment on 16th St. True to form, he fell behind on paying rent on the apartment. Competition is tough for the dbag title. I don't know that he has it nailed down.

Can he be elected on a month to month basis? After all, it sounds like he is already comfortable with the idea of installment plans. Or maybe layaway.
