Montessori is much more expensive.

My son has been there since infancy and we've been overall very happy. I don't think most people move to montessori or walforf- I'm sure that's a choice that some people make, but my impression is that those are much more expensive.

My daughter will be in the 4's class this fall. Both my girls went there and we have been very happy. My older daughter is entering second grade but is reading on a third grade level, as are some of the other SSPC kids that we've kept in touch with.

I have a toddler who has been there since infancy and honestly I was happier with the care before she moved up.

I know a family with kids in the 3/4 class. They have come up through the infant classes. I know they have been happy as they recommended it to me.

The kids at engaged and the staff seems good.

Crickets? No one has/had kids in their preschool class?

So, many moms here seem to like the SSPC infant and toddler care but I haven't heard much about the 3/4/5 class. Anyone recommend this program for preschool or do most folks move on to the Waldorf or Montessori?

We had our DD signed up for Montessori in the fall but are now moving from VA to MD and need to find preschool on short notice.

Thanks.
