HIGHLY recommend Grace Episcopal Day School (www.geds.org). It's located in Kensington, at CT and the beltway. Pre-K through 5th grade. Will definitely have openings for 3rd grade. My son will be entering 3rd grade next fall, and my daughter is graduating after 7 years at Grace. She's going on to National Cathedral. We've loved Grace: it's a small, academically strong school with a wonderful focus on social and emotional development. We also have a new, vibrant headmaster coming from St. Albans (Malcolm Lester).

I'd be happy to talk with you more about the school.
For admissions info, contact John Bonhom (Director of Admission and Financial Aid) at jbonhom@geds.org or 301-585-3513 x 18.

Try Blessed Sacrament. It's a great school, and I just heard that one third grade family will be moving out of state next year.

Also, call the K-12s, beacuse they may have kids moving around. For instance, Maret, GDS, Potomac and Sidwell.

I don't know if Washington Episcopal's third grade is fully enrolled of not, but you could try.
