The economy parking is $12/day and is pretty well lit at night. It's also not that big so not really that isolated.

I park in the regular lot for the convenience and safety. It's $20/day but that's worth it to me, especially at 11 pm.

Yes you need to take a bus but it is maybe a mile. I didn't find it that isolated. Much less isolated than Dulles or bwi because it isn't that big or far away.

I need to leave my car at National Airport for about 4 days. How far is the long-term parking from the terminal? Do you need to take a bus to the long-term parking lot? My return flight gets in at 11 p.m.-I'm concerned about walking to the isolated parking lot at night alone.
