I think it tastes a little off, but I think it may just be cause I'm used to the mildness of white meat. The dark meat tastes just a little bit, I don't know, egg-y or something. It was still fine according to the sell-by date and didn't smell strange uncooked or feel slimy or anything.
Do you think dark meat just has a different taste, or do you think it's spoiled? Any way to tell for sure?
When in doubt, don't eat it doh-doh........If I open meat or anything for that matter and it smells bad, I take it back to the grocery store.
