Check out the first comment in the link - it is pretty accurate. IMO the kids are behind, the French aspect is not even that good. The curriculum is translated from MCPS standards, not from a French curriculum.
If you send your child there, be prepared to keep them up academically through tutoring, both english and french.

If it's not very good, then please elaborate on how/why. Otherwise, I'll go by "no news is good news". No one is complaining about it around here...

Who else got in? Are you excited for your child, as I am? I just wish there would be more feedback on these boards indicating what the experience is like for families. I've searched and searched, and I"m not seeing much on these boards expressing parents' feelings of participating in the program, how they like it (or not), what's going on with the school, etc. Feedback about the French program at Maryvale from existing parents, please! and thank you.
