Tell me, when does this preoccupation with their penises pass? Middle School? Middle Age? When they're in the middle of their coffin?

I agree that they stop touching it in public, but thinking about it? When does that stop?

I've got two boys (9 and 6) and a DH. This seems to be very common and very normal. We, too, have talked about them not doing any of this in public and, in fact, not doing it in front of us. The older one says "but it feels so good", the younger one says "I like it when it's giant". (sigh) At least my DH doesn't do this - at least not in front of anyone.

If it's just to "adjust" then don't worry about it, tho he should still be doing it where he won't be seen even if that just means facing a wall.

OP: He does it in public too. I've talked to him about only doing it at home....

Sometime soon, peer pressure will stop it. Is he doing it in public or just at home? If it the latter, do not worry. It will start again in his teens, but he will be private about it.

Have talked to him about it...and he says that it "goes to the right" and he thinks it's more comfortable the other way so he keeps moving it over. I'm a single mom..have to admit I have no idea if this is nuts or a common male concern. If it is common, seems to me there's nothing much to do about it except get used to it. Tried to tell him that...

Any advice?
