I too am trying to decide between The Rock (RCF) and The Roll (RT) immersion programs ~ anyone out there have experience with both? We live 20 minutes' walk from RT... 15-min drive to RCF...

Rolling Terrace is a partial immersion program. After K, the kids do half their academics in English and half in Spanish.

Rock Creek Forest is a full immersion program -- all academics are in Spanish until you get to the second half of 4th, when they start bringing a small bit of English in (a couple of hours a week). There's a bit more English in 5th grade but not much, unless you take 6th grade math, which is in English.

Rock Creek Forest gives you the option (for now) to attend Westland MS and BCC. Rolling Terrace goes to Silver Spring Intl MS and then to your home school.

We got spots at both - also wondering about how the programs are.

I'm pretty excited that my daughter got a slot at Rolling Terrace's Spanish immersion program, but I'm wondering what people have to say about it. I liked what I saw at the open house, and we are high 40s for Rock Creek Forest. Do families tend to carpool? Thanks.
