If in VA, you should be good. I think it's based just on the formula (which you can find online) and takes into account both parties' incomes and the costs of raising the kid, including school, daycare, health care, etc. The presence of other children would not change the formula, though it might decrease the ex's willingness to pay what was court-ordered or agreed-upon.

OP if he takes you to court yes it can change the amount you can get.... more kids mean each child gets less money its just how it is...
