Anonymous wrote:Seriously, is it even socially acceptable to create that much waste? Unbelievable that people buy these things. Do you buy juice boxes of orange juice for yourself, too?

I just have a regular Braun machine and it brews very strong coffee. How did the Keurig thing get so popular? It seems like everyone has one.
Because its the perfect cup every time and you dont waste. Use Green Mountain Dark Magic or Espresso Blend. Buy in bulk online.
My 18 pack of K-cups for $11.99 regular price (though I buy on sale 95%) is cheaper then the coffee shop and more convienent than the pot. I also use it to make tea (from bags) and instant oatmeal. I love it.
To each their own. I'd never use a Vitamix or Soda Stream enough to warrant the cost. Keurig on the other hand is used at least twice a day at my house.

The best you can do is buy cafe verona or dark espresso roast and try it in a refillable pod.
