If she hasn't opened them, then they are fair game for a return. It's still sellable. It would be great if she knew where they came from, but she doesn't. If the store can't deal with it, then they will turn her away. She is not trying to get money for them, but an even exchange for another brand. Funny, you used to be able to exchange pretty easily, before the days of the computerized check-outs where the clerks only know how to do a return.

OP here, I received the diapers as a baby shower gift hence the reason I have no receipt. I haven't a clue what store.

A couple of years ago, I returned something at Target like this. The lady told me 2 no-receipt returns. And I got the lowest price in the last (something) days - maybe 90 days.

Different stores carry different quantities is what I have found. WalMart will most certainly exchange pretty much anything but if they scan the code and it's not in their system, I'm not sure it will work.
