So I've never worn them. Never even tried them on. And I only shop online, so trying them on in a store isn't going to happen anytime soon.
I would normally just skip this whole trend, but will be attending an outdoor wedding this summer. Regular heels won't work in the grass/corn fields(?!), and flats don't look great with most of my dresses. Thus I'm pondering wedges.
Do they flex enough to walk normally? Or does that vary with the quality? I'm worried both about clomping around in them like a clown and messing up my feet (the podiatrist recommended flexible shoes for my foot problems).
Are you more likely to turn your ankle (a la Danskos)?
If you have thin legs, are some types of wedges better than others?
