I can't stand them. We maintain my parents part time home here and their tiny mailbox fills up weekly with those damn things and the mailman keeps leaving notes for us. So annoying! I wish I could turn off their mailbox!

This 202-334-7730 seems to work. I called and the voice mail said that my address will be removed.

Has anyone tried this? Does it actually work? I hate them too OP!

Return to Sender won't work. The mailings are bulk rate mail. All that will happen is the postal carrier throws them away. If it were sent as First-Class Mail, it would be returned to the sender's address.

I called that number too and cancelled. 202-334-6100. I wish I had done that a long time ago. What an appalling waste of trees and energy.

Works. Thanks.

I just called the number on the back - 202-334-6100. They said they'd stop sending it to me. We'll see what happens!

We're in Maryland. Maybe they'll be switching you over to plastic bag mailers instead?

Why do companies even pay to advertise in these things? Do people actually even look at them? Mine go straight to recycling.

Me, too. In Montgomery County. I emailed the circulation dept. They said they would stop them. They came the next week, but I realized I didn't get one last week, so hopefully it's stopped.

I got like 3 copies of everything in it. So annoying. Plus I subscribe to the Post so I already had all the food ads.

Try calling: 202-334-7730

I saw a thread about this on Fairfax Underground. Let us know if it works!

Collect them until you have a huge stack then take them and dump them at the Pos headquarters on 15th street. Wait for police escort to arrive.
