I use an insulated french press (stainless steel, keeps the coffee hot for about 2 hours). Love it. I think I had to order this one off the Starbucks website. I don't like Starbucks coffee much, but this is a great press.

I highly recommend getting a coffee maker with built in grinder. The coffee tastes fabulous when frshly ground! I like black coffee so the flavor is important to me.

We have a Capresso from Bed Bath and Beyond and you can adjust the grind size for different types of beans. Great machine!

LaShonda at the Starbucks in McClean makes an outstanding cup of coffee.

Our Braun coffee maker just gave it up after a faithful 12 years. I really like hot coffee. Any recommendations? Not interested in a combo grinder/coffee maker.
