????? Babies at that age need a LOT of stimulation!

That said, OP, you can definitely take DC shopping without risk of boredom. Shopping provides plenty of stimulation (people, things to look at/touch/listen to). Swing by a toy store while you're at it


Perhaps the PP meant structured stimulation. Going out for a walk in daylight with people and scenery and general noise/music is probably about the right amount of stimulation.

OP, you can still bring the baby to the kid's section of the public library, take him for a stroller walk at the zoo or Brookside Gardens, or go to a bookstore.

If you want something more structured, you could always sign up for a music class. It's great for that age.

8 months. I've looked at library and gymboree, but nothing fits our schedule. I would love to get out of the house and not completely bore DS by taking him shopping yet again
