I can give you a billion vinaigrette recipes, but honestly, if you want a real Italian I like Wishbone (full fat) Italian. Just bought it for the in-laws, who are purists, and forgot how simple and good it is. For fun (and because I'm not a purist) I shake it up with a little honey and cider vinegar.

I like the good seasons packets--you get a starter kit with a dressing bottle that's marked with lines where you fill oil, vinegar & water, then you add the seasoning packet.
