Very responsive principal.
The class sizes are large but instruction is quite good. And be realistic, no teacher likes the overly involved parents who are in the school all the time ...

WA is okay, not great. We've had mixed experiences with the teachers, but the K teachers are very good. The administration does not take the time to get to know the kids and I do not find them responsive to parent concerns. Class sizes are huge (with one teacher, no aide, in the classroom), and the school is bursting at the seams. IMO the school has a "cold" feel to it. However, my kids are happy and it is amazing how fast the K students learn to navigate the big building, various rules, etc. With such a large student body, kids come from many preschools. There is always a large group from Concord St Andrews.

Any helpful tips? Good teachers? Really concerned about how huge it is and about how the teachers treat boys for moving around a lot (totally developmentally appropriate, not "bad" and any good teacher would know that) from what I've heard.

Where do most kids go to Pre K that go to Wood Acres for Kinder?
