I'm bothered by the unmarried celebs who announce a pregnancy AND an engagement - "it's OK that we're procreating because we were TOTALLY planning to get married." Riiiiight.

How many of these couples actually make it down the aisle?

And even if they do, how long do they stay together?

Just a very bad example.

Maybe because they get sooooooo much attention. What are we, England? Need some royal ass royals to fawn over?

I don't think peple do - only over non-married pregnant celebrities. It sets a bad example for young people. Snooki's pregnancy is not the same thing as Tori's or Beyonce's, both of whom are married and old enough to be repsonisble enough to (hopefully) know what being a parent entails.

Out of wedlock pregnancies in young, un-educated, girls from the lower scoio-economic class now outnumbers birth to married people of the same SEC. That si a problem as a high percentage of these babies are born into poverty, illiteracy and bring all kinds of issues into the lives of girld not prepared to be parents.

Celebrities make it seem okay. It is not okay. Celebrities have much greater resources, resources that the average poor young, uneducated American teenager does not.
