Umm, no.

The Matriculation Stats chart in the prior post has Holton at about 10% Ivy attendance, and STA/NCS above 20%.

Harvard sucks.

True it is a strong cohort--but also very true at MoCo and Fairfax County schools. To the extent it suggests that "ordinary super smart kids" at places like STA/NCS don't get into Harvard or other to schools, that is false.

Both Sidwell and St. Albans have traditionally sent more kids to Yale than Harvard, but it does vary by the year. This year STA had 5 students accepted early at Harvard--that is a lot, but also unusually high for STA.

The best site for this but does exactly answer your question is below. You will note that the ones with the highest % that get into HYPMS (Harvard, Yale Princeton, MIT, STanford) in the DC area are
national cathedral, st albans and then Maret in that order.

But it's not for all schools, only those that publish the information.

This is a sad question. OP. Get a life! If your kid is a Harvard type, she may get there from multiple places. In fact, attending an elite school may harm her chances. Witness the number of NoVa students that get rejected from UVa, despite being qualified.

It depends on the year.

Is it Sidwell, NCS, or St Alban's?
