OP: From what I understand, and I'm still muddling through this, it can be tricky b/c the nights are cool and you can confuse the unit or something if you leave it on "cool" while it's actually cool outside?
But I think the freon's the issue. Same thing happened last year when we first moved in. They suspected a leak but couldn't find it.
So here's the 65,000 question (hopefully not literally): Will the home warranty cover it or not? Fun times. At least it's not 95 degrees as I try to sort this out. Also happy I discovered it before it defrosted and soaked my carpet.
