Neoconservatism is a term which is far broader than foreign policy. If I am correct, I believe the first American politician to be called a neo-conservative was Daniel Patrick Moynihan. So clearly the label is a broad and changing one.
i undersstand that but i dont think it was being used in the broader context.
it seems like they picked a word most used when one thinks of an extreme republican and that word came up.
i dont really care per se but dont want to go around saying something in the wrong context though
