The Irish Inn at Glen Echo has a separate room upstairs which isn't a party room, but a nice setting for a family dinner. You could call to see if it's available. The food's good and pretty wide range of choice.

I also like Blacks Bar & Kitchen in Bethesda. We've done family dinners at a long table there. Love the food and also lots of choice. This atmosphere will be more noisy/bustling than the above rec.

This isn't fancy but Maggiano's in Chevy Chase will do a family style meal. If you are willing to go to Tyson's, Wildfire does nice group dinners too.

I'd like to host a dinner for DH for an upcoming birthday. The group will be 9 or 10 people, and my budget is $500 max. It will be mostly grownups but my kids will be there (ages 10 and 12, not super picky).

Any suggestions for Maryland restaurant? It doesn't have to be a private room, just a large table will be fine.

Thanks!
