OP here--thanks for the GW recommendations! Dr. Macri's office told me that he isn't taking new patients right now unfortunately, but I'm waiting to hear back from Dr. Larsen's office--hopefully he is! Thank you again.

The perinatologists at GW accept BC/BS. Dr. Macri is a really nice guy. Dr. Larsen (sp) is a little more on the traditional side. Dr. Marci is very active in the March of Dimes March for Babies each year. He brings a whole group of folks out to raise money for the capitol area.

Good luck to you!

Hi all! My first baby was premature, so my OB has recommended that I go see a high-risk specialist before TTC #2. I'd prefer to see someone who takes my insurance, but unfortunately BCBS does not break down its participating provider OBs according to specialty. So, does anyone have a recommendation of one who accepts BCBS Standard Federal insurance in the DC or nearby area? Thanks much in advance, and apologies if this has been addressed in this forum before--I did a couple of quick searches that didn't yield anything. And good luck to everyone!!
