Long Branch has a large military population (from Fort Myer and beyond) and, from my perspective, does a great job helping new student adjust. Also has a partnership with Fort Myer, so all students are connected to the military experience (e.g. writing letters and making care packages for deployed soldiers, etc). School concerts always have parents in uniform (one year they played all of the service songs, while service members stood). That said, between the military and the state department, many Northern Virginia schools are very good at accommodating student movement in and out of the school. Good luck!

Military poster here, have you called the school? I PCS this summer and I asked that question of all the schools we're interested in. Some schools gave me the PTA President, might be helpful. Good Luck

I think Northern Virginia in general has a lot of military families.
