On this forum, AAP is made to be the be-all and end-all. When you get to the school, the main difference I see is in the AAP classroom, peer pressure is for excellence, rather than coolness. Or academic excellence in the AAP classroom is cool among the peers.

Is that supposed to encourage or discourage the OP? What's actually funny on DCUM is the disparagement of Loudoun, when it has the highest median incomes of any county in the country. Judging by DCUM posters, you'd think it was one step from Appalachia.

but now I'm not so sure. I wandered on to this board from city-data. I've probably read 20 threads on the Fairfax County Advanced Acronym Program, which parents are soiling themselves trying to get their kids into. I've never seen such a flock of loons. Not even in the sex forum.
