OP: I did Black Flag and Husker Du. Also Circle Jerks, the Clash (by then retro) and Sex Pistols (also Retro). Did like the Replacements a lot.

My older sister graduated in 1991 and I graduated in 1993. We were comparing iPods a few years ago and realized that she had a lot more heavy metal "hair band" music and I had a lot more early grunge because that was what was popular when we were in high school. Our tastes are generally very similar so we found it funny that the two year age difference made such a big difference in our cultural references.
