9:35: it's amazing. I wish I had never tried it because I can't go back to normal sauce. I use it as my base tomato sauce for everything.

10:27: if I had the time for this, I would love to do that.. unfortunately I don't!

Or, you could buy a bunch of good tomatos, some paste, garlic, onions and spices, and in a couple of hours have an equivalent amount of sauce that tastes better for half the price.

Just wanted to share in case this helps anyone else out. This is the only jarred sauce I use and it is amazing, but normally really expensive ($9.99). Whole Foods is having a daily deal on it today at $4.99, and it's an additional 10% off if you buy by the case. I ended up with 4 cases (48 jars) for $220. This does go on sale occasionally at Giant or Harris Teeter, but for $8.99 or maybe $7.99. The woman at Old Town WF estimated that they'd sell out by 2pm.
